Dianne & Quang’s Wedding

Yay! I’m blogging again! :) Dianne & Quang were married all the way back on October 3rd !!! But I do have a few good reasons for taking so long with this blog post :) . #1 I have been very focused on editing, editing, editing! and #2 Josh and I took SO MANY images at this wonderful event that it was VERY difficult narrowing them down to this (still very long) post.  I always seem to share tons of  ”pretty” photos of the Bride, the couple and the details when I write these blog entries and I wanted to do something a little different this time. I love taking beautiful and creative photos of the Bride & Groom as well as documenting all the important details that went into the planning, but those types of photos don’t truly represent the heart & soul of what we do. First and foremost, we are Photojournalists and totally focused on capturing the authentic, unscripted and emotional moments that spontaneously occur throughout the day. Our clients tell us that they love their wedding photos because the images have substance and meaning, the images bring them right back to the day over and over again. I hope you enjoy this super long post :)

the day started at 8:30am, Dianne getting prepared for their traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony

Lauren & Jeff

Lauren and Jeff were married September 26th at Boyne Mountain Resort. The weather report threatened rain so the ceremony was held under a tent on the shore of Deer Lake followed by a rockin reception at The Beach House. The day ran perfectly smooth, everything was beautiful and the couple…a truly ADORABLE couple…they are so in love and so darn cute together!

Thanks to Lauren and Jeff for a fantastic time up at Boyne. We also fell in love with the place, so thanks for introducing us to our next family vacation spot! :) You were so wonderful to work with, so easy-going and genuine, it was truly an honor to document your day. :)
